Located across the street from Balboa Park in San Diego was an existing overly long master bathroom vanity space that needed some smart design solutions. The length of the vanity provided the challenge of needing to break up the size and bring in some visual interest. Two large lift up medicine cabinet lighted mirrors were meticulously placed and centered in between beautiful ceramic tiles. Wall dimensions were very carefully calculated to allow for full tiles with no cuts at side walls and top and bottom with enough space for the lift up mirror to fully open. The floating vanity created a lighter look for the long space that also provided an extra layer for lighting below.
