Located on a prime corner of downtown San Diego was a very unique three story lofty condo space in need of a whole new look. The existing white cabinetry and high gloss floors of the interior spaces were not up to the new owner’s taste. They wanted something that emulated a NYC loft, something dramatic yet industrial. Brick veneer was installed on all interior exterior walls and all window frames and stair railings were painted black. All new Siematic custom cabinetry in a black stained rift sawn oak veneer runs through the unit and is contrasted by light taupey walls and porcelain tiles. Unique stone slabs run through the kitchen and three bathrooms with back lit led panels in the kitchen to add to the drama of the material and the space. The kitchen island was extended to maximize the usable space in the new layout and make use of an existing dead space between the kitchen and dining areas. The entry to the powder bath was moved in order to create a larger kitchen pantry area. All new lighting and furnishings complete the space for these lucky homeowners.
