Located in the heart of the marina district in downtown San Diego was a residence with a great location, in a great building, and in need of a full interior remodel. The existing space had a closed off small kitchen with a window looking into living room and dark wood paneling throughout. A modern freshening up was definitely due for the new home owners. The new plan consisted of the kitchen opening up to the living room with a total change of space plan and flow from kitchen to living room, substantially increasing the size of workable kitchen space. The master bathroom was also opened up and reconfigured by moving the toilet to its own separate space and out of the center and opening up the walls to create a spacious tub space for two. All new finishes and furnishings throughout help finish off the modern luxury of the new space.
